Sasmung 正式宣布 Thom Browne Edition 摺疊手機將於 2023 年 9 月 7 日發表，預告圖片跟先前宣傳影片暗示的一樣，只有看到手持 Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 的畫面，但依舊沒有看到 Galaxy Z Flip5；不知道這次會不會只有推出單一版本呢？
雖然目前 Samsung 並未透露會針對哪一款新機推出 Thom Browne Edition，不過從先前釋出的宣傳影片內容來看，可以斷定會有 Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 Thom Browne 限定版；影片內容呈現的是服務生將餐盤蓋子打開，裡面有一張橫向掀開的 Thom Browne 配色的紙張，而這張紙的比例就跟 Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 系列一樣！

Samsung 跟 Thom Browne 合作從 2020 年開始，當時推出的是 Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne 限定版，後續還有陸續推出 Galaxy Z Fold 2、Galaxy Z Flip 3 與 Galaxy Z Fold 3 版本，直到上一代才暫時中斷；與這些產品同步推出的還有 Thom Browne「大禮包」，包含 Thom Browne 式樣的保護殼、智慧手錶、藍牙耳機，後來還有無線充電盤等配件。
